Today for Throw Back Thursday, I tweeted and posted this picture:
It’s a picture of my daughter, Sienna, the smaller of my twins. Many of you know about my daughters, but we have so many new friends to this blog that I thought Throw Back Thursday would be a perfect time to share.
My twins are almost 15 years old now and they’re the only set of identical twins where one is a Primordial Dwarf.
Sienna weighed 1 pound, 7.3 ounces. Her twin, Sierra, weighed 4 pounds, 4.8 ounces. Sienna was 6 weeks behind in development on top of them being born 6 weeks early. Doctors didn’t think she would make it, but after 108 days in the NICU, she was able to come home!
This story by ABC’s 20/20 was the first national TV coverage of my girls. I thought they did a good job. 🙂 It’s always neat for me to watch this and see how much they’ve matured since then.
